It’s a day we all agree to leave social media alone, and leave our phones aside for just one day! Instead we agree to connect, reconnect, and go outside … we “go quietly” for a day in order to promote well-being and mental health for all.

WHEN?

Arrival SATURDAY 9th November

09.00am-5.00pm

To mark Digital Detox, The Avon in collaboration with Megan Williams, founder of Move Energise Glow will be hosting a well-being day, a day to switch off from the outside world and take a moment just for you. A day to spend for yourself to focus on your goals, aspirations and improve your over all feeling of wellbeing. Join like minded people, reconnect and disconnect from your phone, laptop and whatever else is distracting you.

Below I have designed the perfect day for the perfect #DigitalDetox

Wellness Session One: 10am-10.45am

In this session, learn how to regain control of arguably your most powerful asset, your attention, with mindfulness. In this introductory workshop, we will look at how mindfulness can help you reduce stress, improve focus and concentration, and encourage a healthier, more mindful, relationship with technology and social media. Included is breath work. We are providing space for you to explore the peace that naturally rests within you that you may not witness very often because of a busy mind and lifestyle. It is your opportunity to Unplug & Reconnect

Wellness Session Two: 11.00am-12.15pm

Yoga flow with Maura

Vinyasa flow yoga with Maura – Maura’s favourite style of yoga to teach. Vinyasa yoga is a contemporary practice linking the physical practice of movement with breath. It is a dynamic, fluid, movement practice with a great music backdrop. The class will leave you feeling calm and completed energized. Maura believes yoga is for everybody – and everyone’s body is different. Rather than just focus on form, she will guide and adjust your practice to get the most out it – no matter your body type, ability or age.

Healthy Lunch: 12.30pm-1.30 pm

Wellness Session Three: 1.30pm-2.30pm

Vision Board Workshop

With Roisin from Style-Selfology a life coach who specializes in self-esteem and confidence coaching. This workshop will explore the creative, fun tool and show you the power of vision boarding which will guide you towards the life you want and deserve. Very much on trend.

Wellness Session Four: 2.45pm-3.45pm

Tone & Sculpt Pilates with Megan

A full body workout to fire up every muscle group to strengthen, lengthen and sculpt. Finish the day with a fun, upbeat exercise class. Go home feeling energised and refreshed.

You will be immersed in a full day with classes, yoga, meditation, motivating workshops, great food and a time to disconnect to reconnect

You will leave the day retreat feeling energised, refreshed, empowered and your soul nourished.

Everything is included in the price below, food, snacks, teas, coffee and the highest standard of instruction from our outstanding trainers and coaches.

The food is healthy, hearty nutritious and prepared by the wonderful chefs of the Avon

Kathryn Thomas and her Pure Results Team are bringing their amazing 1 Day Fit Fix event to Savour Kilkenny this year on Saturday, October 26th. Join the team for a day of fun, food and fitness all in the backdrop of Kilkenny Castle!

The day kicks off with a HIIT class from Irish Rugby player Megan Williams and the rest of the day will include some of our favourite classes such as Boxercise, Bands & Bells. We will also have some fantastic food and nutritional demonstrations and advice plus many more surprises!

Sing around the bonfire with marshmallows and music and delve into nature. With a gorgeous night time meditation and yoga flow whilst we star gaze.

WANDERLUST Retreat, will take place at the beautiful WILTON MILLS FARM which is situated in Cranne, Bree Co Wexford. Only a 1 HOUR 20 MINS drive from Dublin City, this is a gorgeous, peaceful and tranquil farm with the most stunning views of the mountains.

You will be immersed in a weekend of fitness classes, yoga, meditation, beautiful hikes, motivating workshops, great food and lots of fun.

You will leave the retreat feeling energised, refreshed, empowered and your soul nourished.

Starting off in Irish Town- its a easy 5km walk out into Dublin Bay. Nice easy pace, to get warmed up and enjoy the wonderful nature and views- with an epic HIIT Class at the famous red lighthouse

This event and class- is to empower YOU and give YOU the confidence to train hard and have fun with like minded people, get a sweat on and enjoy breath taking views of dublin. 

This will be a Guided backpacking hike through one of our very favourite woodland trails, Hell Fire Club - Dublin Mountains. Nice easy pace, to get warmed up and enjoy the wonderful nature and views around us on this trail- with a EMPOWERING MOTIVATING self boxercise class at the top of the mountain with incredible views. 

This day is the perfect day out on a Sunday- enjoy meeting like minded people have some fun, chats and enjoy a unique/one of a kind fitness class- Trust me we will be making you sweat too ;) Its all fun and will be very enjoyable setting and environment

Beginners Hike to Zen Yoga class- Ticknock Dublin Mountains 


Join Megan & Niamh from Move Energise Glow for our next HIKE TOO SERIES-  Hike to Zen after our sell out Hike to HITT class we have arranged another Hike with a relaxing, zen yoga class. We can't wait for this one with our amazing yoga instructor Ciara Reilly @ciara_reilly_yoga

This will be a Guided backpacking hike through one of our very favourite woodland trails, Ticknock Dublin Mountains. Nice easy pace, to get warmed up and enjoy the wonderful nature and views around us on this trail- with a wonderfully ZEN Yoga Forest Flow to finish 

This day is the perfect way to enjoy the wonderful views of Dublin, enjoy meeting like minded people have some fun, chats and enjoy the beautiful setting and Yoga class with Ciara and the Move Energise Glow Team.

Join Megan & Niamh from Move Energise Glow for our very first Hike to HITT event this will be a Guided backpacking hike through one of our very favourite woodland trails, Cruagh Woods. Nice easy pace, to get warmed up and enjoy the wonderful nature and views- with an epic HITT Class at the top of Dublin Mountains, this day is the perfect way to come out of your comfort zone, learn more about yourself and enjoy something completely new and different. Join us for a lovely relaxing, enjoyable hike, Learn how to read a map, and guide yourself on & off track- Push your body to new levels with a fitness element to this day out, then sit back and soak up some of Ireland’s amazing views enjoy a coffee or tea when you reach the top. Set for an amazing day out with lots of fun and a huge accomplishment
